LEAD Your legion evolves and changes as you progress north into wild lands. Relationships form, rivalries form, friends fight harder to protect each other, each cohort builds a history with the men in its unit as the campaign progresses. Friends grieve and lose cohesion with their cohort if a close companion dies, weather affects in battle morale and combat stats, veterans of your cohorts can provide a calming and morale boosting effect when kept alive in battle. Adjust their Cohort specific positioning to maximize their impact and chances of survival. FORMATIONS You are Roman! Strength, Cohesion, Discipline. You must use all formations to adapt to the present threat. REST & TRAIN Grow your legion's relationships, training, health and recovery as the legion camps after each major battle. Honor your fallen, promote new Centurions, restock provisions, and many other management options. Your choices here will drive both the path your legion takes and the happiness and health of your men. AN EVOLVING BATTLEFIELD Fire. Weather. Terrain.
