SUPER-TYPE is a brutal keyboard-driven arcade score attack game. Use the entire range of keys to target multiple threats at once, and try to survive an invasion escalating faster than you can control.
In a future where the world's cities face an endless onslaught of invaders, from both alien worlds and dimensions beyond, all surviving civilizations have joined forces to produce the keyboard-operated SUPER-TYPE Defense System. This is the only weapon remaining that is capable enough to protect humanity. Do you have what it takes to operate it?
SUPER-TYPE is an arcade game driven by relentless action and boiling intensity at the limit of of what is possible for players to execute. Their reward? A high score with their name on it. Timing, aiming, multi-tasking are all combined into a challenge that is tough but fair and hard to put down.
Use the keyboard to aim missiles at incoming targets. each key corresponds to a position on-screen, press multiple keys at once to average their positions and gain finer control over where your missiles land. Power-ups won't save you. Additional enemies and threats are rolled out gradually through Wave 40 - see if you can get past Wave 5. If you are waiting for your shot to hit the target before you move onto the next one, it is probably already too late.
