Nothing is forced and it is up to player to decide what they want to do. No matter what they decide, there is still plenty to enjoy. Completely Handmade I developed Snailium with a challenge for myself - make every single asset for the game from scratch. This includes the models, code (within the engine), the textures, materials, sound FX, music, art, etc... I truly enjoyed this first experience in game development and have learned so much.
