Runner Overdrive

Runner Overdrive is a fact paced 2D movement shooter platformer based around delivering packages in a post apocalyptic world after the moon got blown asunder and it's remnants began infecting the planet below. MOVE FAST, SHOOT FASTER Movement is the key to survival. Fling yourself around using the recoil from your trusty revolver and utilize the world around you as a launch pad. Stay frosty, don't run out of ammo, and you just might survive long enough to keep working. DELIVER THE PACKAGE You were hired on as a delivery runner. Delivering what? Who knows. Your only job is to ensure the package arrives safely. What happens in it's transit is up to you, whether it be baiting an enemy with the package to deal a fatal blow or tucking it away to clear safe passage, your fate is in your hands (or is it?) UPGRADE YOUR GEAR Bolster your stats, create wild builds, and gain an overwhelming advantage against your enemies with upgrades, or use overdrives to turn the tide when things get dicey. Stock up between missions, choose your loadout carefully, and make sure you're ready for whatever might be in your way. MEET THE LOCALS The world is held together with duct tape and denial. The people in it aren't much different. Get to know your crew, talk to the people you probably shouldn't, and figure out what actually happened to make everything this bad. The world didn't end by accident, and someone out there knows exactly why it happened and how to fix it.
