Find the Problem
Every repair starts with a diagnosis. Inspect the device, test it and look for signs of trouble. Sometimes the problem is obvious. Other times, you'll have to open it up and take a closer look.
Take It Apart
Remove screws, covers, screens, batteries and internal components piece by piece. Keep track of how everything fits together — you'll need to put it back together when you're done.
