Face off against waves of pieces from elemental kings in this action packed reimagination of the time weathered classic. Equip your pieces with all different types of abilities, modifying the way the game is played. Warp to a different tile to protect your king or capture an enemy piece. Have all your pawns come back from the dead or blaze a destructive path through the enemy forces. There's no limit to how many abilities a single piece can have, and they all work according to the type! A queen that fires icy shards in all 8 directions? Yes please! Capture pieces and gain experience. Fill up the EXP bar and level up! Choose from randomly selected rewards of various rarities in order to tilt the balance of the fight in your favor. Sacrifice your ilk to the God of Blood in exchange for power, summon an extra row of pawns, steal the enemy king's unique ability, and more! In each of the seven realms resides a prismatic king with a unique elemental ability. Besting them will grant you crown shards, slivers of their power that can be used to unlock roster upgrades in addition to progressing the main story.
