Loaded with loot. Low on health. A deadly foe ahead—fight or extract? Neon Ascent fuses cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilding with extraction gameplay. Build killer decks, grab the loot—but push one floor too far and risk it all. It’s only yours if you make it out!
The loot is yours. Can you walk away?
Neon Ascent is a cyberpunk turn-based roguelike deckbuilder with extraction mechanics. Gather loot, build your deck, and take down bosses. After each chapter, make the call: push deeper or bring your haul home.
One more chapter—or a safe extraction?
The boss is down. A powerful relic is in your hands. Now comes the hard part.
Extract to permanently secure your chosen boss relic, or take it into the next chapter and keep pushing. If your expedition fails, you lose the relics you haven't extracted with. Keep what you've earned—or risk it for what's ahead?
Deadly enemies. Limited energy. Make every card count.
You can see what the enemy is planning. How you answer is up to you. Spend your energy on an attack, brace for a heavy hit, or set up your next combo?
Against bosses and multiple enemies, choosing the right target and play order can mean the difference between a breakthrough and a dead end.
A strong card means nothing without the right deck.
After battle, choose your next card. Trade health for an opening, strike back after taking damage, or reduce costs to keep a combo going. Each choice takes your deck in a different direction.
Pick the missing piece—or skip a reward that doesn't fit. Your next fight starts with the decisions you make here.
Which route pays off? Which route gets you home?
Battles, elites, events, shops, rest stops, and treasure await along the tower's branching paths.
Take a detour to recover, or face an elite? Risk your remaining health, or strengthen your deck first? Read your situation before taking the next step. The route you choose sets the stakes.
Every deal has a price.
A masked broker offers an illicit upgrade: sacrifice health for a new card, or take the credits and walk away.
Not every opportunity comes from combat. A single deal can reshape your deck and change your plans. The offer is tempting—but can you afford the cost?
Push one chapter further, or quit while you're ahead? It's only yours if you make it out.
