A free isometric detective game in the tradition of Disco Elysium. Investigate the theft of an icon, explore the world, and talk. Conduct your investigation through dialogue, skill tests, and choices. Set in a northern Russian town, it's a blast from the nostalgia of the 2000s.
"Lestvitsa" is an isometric point-and-click detective story that continues the tradition of Disco-like games, which made dialogue the primary gameplay. We take the genre's foundation (isometry, complex choices, skill tests, non-linear branches) and infuse it with a Russian flavor, Orthodox ontology, and the story of a teenager exploring this world and trying to figure out who he wants to become in it.
The game deliberately rejects binary morality. There are no "correct" answers and no punishment for choices. There are only choices and their consequences, which, for the most part, don't become apparent immediately. What makes us different: Orthodox ontology, a Russian setting of the 2000s, and a system of Thoughts that influence skills, as well as the virtues and passions of the hero, through whom you shape their personality.
