A first-person psychological horror game set in a cramped Korean goshiwon. You and your friend make fake ghost videos for views. But something that looks exactly like his costume gets one step closer every day.
Goshiwon: a kind of low-cost housing unique to Korea. Each room has space for little more than a bed and a desk, and the kitchen and bathrooms are shared. Goshiwons were built for students studying for exams, but now they house anyone who needs somewhere cheap to stay.
Play Information
- Multiple endings: There are 2 endings in total. We recommend seeing both.
- Estimated playtime: About 1.5 hours on a first playthrough.
- Supports a day-by-day save system.
About the Game
You've just moved into Room 307 of a goshiwon to study for your exams. To make a little money on the side, you start a vlog channel.
Then your friend Minsu shows up with a ghost costume, and the two of you start filming fake ghost videos. The views go up.
One evening, you see "Minsu" standing at the end of the hallway in his costume. He doesn't answer when you call his name. Later, Minsu tells you he was still getting changed.
You've been filming too much lately. You're just seeing things.
GOSHIWON is a first-person psychological horror game. You spend one week in a room barely bigger than your bed, and the line between fake and real starts to blur.
Key Features
- Life in a goshiwon — Study at your desk, shower in the shared bathroom, do your laundry, and grab meals at the convenience store and the cheap buffet downstairs.
- Make ghost videos — Film with your camera, upload, and read the comments. Sometimes the footage shows things you didn't see.
- Something that isn't your friend — She only appears where you aren't looking, and each day she comes a little closer.
- The locked fourth floor — Nobody has lived up there for a year. There's a reason.
- Two endings — No choice menus. What you do decides how it ends.
