EtelGardeについて
A thousand years ago, the Twilight War reached its end.
Three Sages remained before the Scar of the Abyss. With their lives, they forged a seal and drove the demon host back beneath the world.
People believed the war was over.
Hymns rose in praise of the angels, while those who died before the seal were reduced to a few lines in the margins of history.
A thousand years have passed.
The Sages' Seal is beginning to break.
That war never truly ended.
It only slept until today.
This time, the world has no new Hero waiting to save it.
It has only you.
This World Will Not Bend for You
You have no special bloodline. No hidden gift. No power waiting to awaken one day.
You can gain experience. You can learn from others. You can grow through battle after battle. But you will always remain mortal. Even at the end of your life, you will never be able to defeat a true dragon head-on.
Characters' names and profiles are not laid out in front of you. You have to get to know them the way you would real people.
You write what you want to say, what you want to do, and what you intend to try. The world decides what happens next.
Saying that you worked for three months and earned enough money will not put coins in your pocket.
Saying that you found a divine sword in some ruin will not make one exist.
Time must actually pass.
Money must actually be earned.
Things must actually be obtained.
Skills must actually be learned.
The world will allow what you are capable of doing.
And it will refuse what you are not.
The World Keeps Moving Without You
While you are drinking in a tavern, a ship may already be leaving port.
Someone who made a promise three days ago may reach their deadline and act on it.
Someone you once let go may be living a new life somewhere else.
A trade that had nothing to do with you may return months later and find its way back into your story.
Characters have their own work, relationships, problems, and plans.
Somewhere, someone is doing business.
You did not see it happen. That does not mean it never happened.
By the time those events finally reach you, they already have a history of their own.
The World Remembers
Who owed whom money.
Who died, and in what year.
Who made a promise.
Who betrayed whom.
Those things can remain.
Something you gave away does not disappear just because the story has moved on.
Years later, you can still ask a companion what she is carrying. She may remember where that old doll came from, who gave her the coin pouch, and where the two of you last met.
People, possessions, relationships, places, and events all remain part of the same changing world.
None of this depends on whether the model happens to remember it.
A Companion Is Her Own Person
Companions are not characters waiting for the player to trigger their next line of dialogue.
She can work.
She can spend her own money.
She can carry her own belongings.
She can know people you have never met.
She can have problems that have nothing to do with you.
She can like you.
She can also refuse you.
Cross her boundaries again and again, and she may leave.
The world does not require everyone in it to live around you simply because you are the player.
Your Key, Your Model, Your Save
EtelGarde does not include a built-in language model and does not sell AI credits.
In the settings, you connect a supported model of your choice using your own API credentials. Supported model families currently include Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, GLM, and Kimi.
Any model usage fees are paid directly to the corresponding service provider. Elrolin does not handle those payments.
There are no in-game purchases, no AI credits, and no message-based usage packs.
Your API credentials are stored in your local system credential manager. Narrative requests are sent directly from your computer to the model provider you choose.
Your story and save data do not pass through Elrolin's servers.
Death Is the End
You have only one life.
Everything you say, everything you do, and everyone you meet exists only on this one worldline.
The world will not forgive your mistakes simply because you are the player.
Once you die, this life is over.
Some people will die.
Some will leave.
And some words, once spoken, can never be taken back.
Everything Belongs to This World
Every character, location, NPC, item, piece of music, and sound effect you encounter was independently created, refined, and integrated into the game by the developer.
When a character says where they are, the scene follows.
When the world creates a new item during play, that item can have an appearance of its own.
Before You Begin
EtelGarde requires an active internet connection and API credentials for a supported third-party large language model.
Save data is stored locally. Steam Cloud is not supported.
The game has only one worldline, and it only moves forward. You cannot return to the past by loading an earlier save. Once the player dies, that life comes to an irreversible end.
