Echoes of Syntax is a retro-flavored arena roguelike where your magic comes from words. Combine Nouns (projectile), Verbs (behavior), and Adjectives (element/effect) to create hundreds of spell variants — from Fiery Chasing Orbs to Icy Bouncing Mines. Features - Word-crafting spells: mix Noun + Verb + Adjective - Fast wave-based combat with endless combos - One new card unlock after each wave - Simple, readable three-column word picker - Pixel-inspired UI, chiptune vibes, smooth camera - Boss music & a calm main menu theme Progression Start with a small deck of words, unlock a new one after each wave, and swap your build before diving back in.
