A first-person climb up a white tower where colors shows the way. Dodge, bunny hop and slide to the top, earn Trackmania-style medals on every segment, race the ghosts of the best players… and fall. A lot.
Clone, listen. The tower is calling.
A white tower. No map, no arrows: only color shows the route. Climb it in first person, segment by segment, checkpoint by checkpoint. Fall. Retry. Climb higher.
Movement first
- Quake and Unreal Tournament style acceleration, air control and bunny hop
- Double-tap dodge, wall dodge and wall slides
- Neon slides, bumpers, ladders and walls you can't hold on to
Medals, ghosts, leaderboards
- Every segment has official times: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Author… and Clone, for those who find the shortcut and still beat the author
- Race your own ghost or the best players' ghosts, and watch their runs in first or third person to learn their lines
- Online leaderboards for the whole tower (finish time, or highest climb), for every segment and for your sum of best segments
- Practice any segment you have reached, and finish the tower once to unlock save states
The tower plays along
Every color is an instrument. The blocks you touch play the notes: your climb is the song.
Tributes
Clone 16 is a love letter to the games that shaped it:
- Trackmania: medals, author times, ghosts and "one more try"
- BETON BRUTAL: a tower to climb, and the fear of falling
- Unreal Tournament 99: the dodge, the air control, the speed
