Stop the Curse, Save the town! Your Witch master’s dying action was to curse the town. Now supernatural thorns are spreading across the town, and you may be the only person capable of stopping them. You have limited actions each day. Investigate the town, build relationships, follow rumors, earn money, uncover hidden places, and discover the ingredients needed to complete a ritual before the curse consumes everything. But every run is different. You won’t need the same ingredients every time, not everyone will willingly help you, and saving the town may require deciding what kind of witch you are willing to become. 100 Days to Break a Curse The thorns spread every day. You have limited actions to spend before the day ends, forcing you to decide what matters most: investigating a lead, earning money, strengthening a relationship, gathering supplies, or trying to push the curse back. Waste too much time and the town can be lost. Investigate a Town Full of Secrets Explore the town and its surroundings, follow rumors, uncover hidden routes, investigate strange events, and piece together what people know about the curse. From the Chapel and crowded Inn to forgotten Underground Passages, Plague Pits, ancient Ritual Circles, and the edge of the evil Thornwood, Different locations will reveal different pieces of the mystery. Discover the mystery behind the mystery. Decide Who to Trust The people of the town have their own problems, loyalties, secrets, and opinions of you. Build relationships through conversation, favors, gifts, and difficult choices. People who trust you may provide information, resources, access to places you could not otherwise reach, or even agree to help you complete the ritual. Discover the Ritual You Need There are ten possible ritual ingredients, but only five are required in each run to win. Learn what you need, discover where those ingredients can be found, and work out how to obtain them. Some require exploration. Others depend on relationships, favors, or secrets. Finding everything may reveal possibilities beyond merely surviving the curse. Manage Cutting back Thorns and Earning Money The thorns are growing quickly and will need to be cut back. You must balance rituals, aid from townsfolk and your own efforts to keep them in check or risk the town being overrun by thorns before 100 days have passed. Choose What Kind of Witch You Become Be good and honest or manipulative and sneaky, your actions and decisions will shape the ending of your story. Compromise your morals for quick success or find ethical ways to get access. Built for Replayability with Achievement and Secrets Different required ingredients, discoveries, random events, outfits, achievements, and multiple endings mean that a new apprentice does not have to follow the same path as the last.
