WerkstattManager – Uncle Karl's Legacy hakkında
Uncle Karl is gone. His garage is yours now.
He left behind a run-down backstreet garage, a stack of debts, and a dream he never finished. The garage door sticks, the lights flicker, and decades of oil stains cover the floor. Customers still find their way into the courtyard—but earning their trust is now up to you.
Listen. Test. Decide.
Customers arrive with symptoms, not ready-made answers. Inspect each car and narrow the problem down to faults in the engine, brakes, exhaust, or lights. Every test gives you more certainty, but it also uses valuable time from the working day.
Keep testing until you are sure—or trust your hunch and commit to a diagnosis. A correct call builds your reputation and leaves the customer satisfied. A wrong guess immediately costs time and reputation.
Prepare the quote
Once you have diagnosed the problem, choose whether to quote for the main fault or include additional work, then set your price. A cheaper quote is easier to accept; a higher one earns more if the customer agrees. Budgets, patience, personality, and your reputation all influence the decision.
The car goes up on the lift
Accepted jobs are carried out in your garage: the part is fetched from the storeroom, the car goes up on the lift, and the repair plays out in visible stages — while you keep an eye on the clock and the next customer. Complete jobs, get paid, invest in the garage, and make every working day count.
A warm, worn-in garage
Weathered walls, old signs, warm lighting, a quiet 1980s-inspired Berlin backstreet, and a cinematic soundtrack give the garage its character. WerkstattManager is a focused management game about observation, judgment, and honest work—not a wrench-by-wrench simulation built around endless spreadsheets.
What awaits you
- Diagnose faults across the engine, brakes, exhaust, and lights
- Choose between careful testing and the risk of trusting a hunch
- Set low, fair, or high quotes with visible acceptance chances
- Meet customers with different personalities, budgets, and patience
- Face immediate consequences for your decisions
- Repairs that play out in the garage – part fetched, car on the lift, stage by stage
- Develop the garage with the money you earn
Planned for the full version
The full version is meant to turn a one-man workshop into a real business:
- Hire employees – eventually you stop turning every wrench yourself and start running a team
- Paint shop and bodywork bay – dents, rust, and respraying as areas of their own
- Towing service – a call comes in and you decide whether the trip is worth it. On site you negotiate: repair it, buy the car outright, strip it for parts, or fix it up and sell it on
- Uncle Karl's project car – the covered dream car behind the garage, finished piece by piece
- A bigger garage – more lifts, more parking spaces, and real stock management
The full version is in development – its scope may still change.
Bring Karl's garage back to life—one job at a time.
