Über HorseHair
"When I turn the TV off, I can see Jesse's reflection next to mine, but I swear I see another one looking at us."
HorseHair is a short psychological horror game about looking after your little brother, playing your favorite fighting game, and trying to stay sane as your everyday normal becomes surreal and dark.
FEATURES
- Point-and-click exploration of a quiet old house, told through the eyes of an older sibling holding the family together
- A fully playable retro fighting game within the game, called Horsehair, you play nightly that keeps you and your brother close
- Complete small mundane tasks, check on your brother, and help your dad with upkeep on the house
- Have dreams that summarize your day, that leave you with unanswered questions
THE GAMEPLAY
You play as Jay, an older brother in high school that's keeping the household running while Dad works late, again, and hasn't seemed like himself in weeks. Every night you and your little brother Jesse wind down the same way: a few rounds of HorseHair, your shared fighting game, glowing on an old CRT in your bedroom.
Move room to room through the house, handle simple chores, and look after Jesse, all while something settles wrong into the corners of the house. Turn on the television and try not to look too closely at the picture, or at what's standing just behind you in it.
