Fuel Your Engine Your engine can hold up to 18 fuel items, split across 3 rings and 6 segments. ANYTHING can be fuel. Load it up, arrange your materials to create powerful synergies within rings and segments then hit BOOST. Each fuel item will provide power, build up your RPM and speed. Reaching each successive waypoint and planet will require a progressively greater amount of power. Replace your fuels, scale them up and optimise your builds. Watch out for potential chaotic events! The core engine can transform unpredictably. Be ready to adapt and triumph over these challenges. Shape Your Run Your journey to each planet is broken up into phases, with waypoints offering random events and encounters. Whether it’s traders, Wuldorian outposts or pirates (or worse), you get to chart your own course. Add persistent upgrades and new fuels, discard the ones dragging you down and recruit new crew members to help you run the ship. Acquire segment modifiers (modulators) to place in your engine, affecting the way items in a segment behave. A modulator may change the efficiency of your materials or even apply mutators to your segments. Find the right ones to optimize your engine.
