Über Atomic Hockey
Table hockey the way you remember it – figures on rods, a goalie who gets blamed for everything – with one small change: the puck is a bomb. Atomic Hockey is a wacky party game for 1 to 12 players on one screen, built for quick matches, loud losses and last-second goals that go off with a bang.
THE PUCK IS A BOMB
In Atomic mode the puck ticks. Whoever has it when the timer hits zero goes up with their whole line: stunned figures, pucks flying every which way, the horn, and somebody laughing. Goals still count the whole time, so there's no hiding – you have to get the bomb to the other end before it goes off.
1 TO 12 PLAYERS ON ONE SCREEN
Every figure on the table can be held by a different human. Two players fit on the keyboard, the rest on gamepads – as many as you can dig up. Play 1v1, a full 6v6 or anything in between. AI fills the empty spots, from pushover to nightmare, so the game runs even when it's just you.
Friends across the country join through Steam Remote Play Together – one copy is enough. Video quality and input lag will depend on your connection.
## EVERY MATCH PLAYS DIFFERENT
Classic – honest table hockey. Most goals when the horn sounds wins.
Atomic – ticking puck. See above.
Portals – the puck vanishes at one end of the rink and shoots out the other. Scoring on yourself through a portal is easier than you'd think.
Turf War – no goals. The puck paints the ice in your colour and the team with more ice wins.
More modes keep coming.
A PILE OF POWER-UPS
Crates drop right onto the rails mid-match. Freeze a rival's figure, pop a shield, pull the puck in with the super magnet, blast a power shot through the whole defence, or swap places with an opponent and play their figure for a while. Power-ups go in your backpack and come out whenever it hurts the other team most. Some of them stack – bigger bomb plus power shot is an experience for the whole table.
Don't like one? Every power-up can be switched off in the settings. You make the rules.
Wishlist it and warn your friends. Own goals count. Unfortunately.
