Über Yurko
You and your team are part of Yurko — an International Nuclear Security Bureau.
In an alternate 1964, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the world slips into a global political crisis.
You operate a failing Arctic nuclear base — isolated, under pressure, and cut off from reliable support.
Every system is connected. Every decision carries risk.
Failures cascade. Mistakes escalate.
In a world of unreliable information and rising tension, even a single wrong call can bring you closer to nuclear war.
Your role is to prevent it.
Features:
- Run a failing nuclear base — control the reactor, route power, and keep the heat alive. One failure — everything goes down.
- Intercept, negotiate, or wait — choose wrong, and the world burns.
- Radio signals, readouts, and even your perception can distort or lie — you may see or hear things that aren’t real. Trust nothing. Verify everything.
- Defend your base against aircraft that evade, jam, and fight back.
- Leave the base to gather resources in a hostile Arctic. Every trip is a risk.
- Blizzards disrupt visibility, communication, and detection systems, forcing you to adapt.
- No fixed roles — run systems, man the gun, drive, handle radio. Play solo or with a team, switch on the fly.
- Each session is a single night. Survive until dawn — or collapse.
In the end, the base itself may become your only way out.
Reactor to power. Power to heat.
Heat to everything that keeps you alive.
Break one — and everything goes with it.
You won’t hold everything.
The higher the load, the hotter the reactor.
The higher the stress, the faster your mind slips.
The more mistakes you make, the closer you get to nuclear war.
The system does not wait.
They said peace would follow the collapse.
Three years later — a new Cold War.
They are ready.
Are you?
They have missiles.
They have aircraft and bombs.
They have a thousand ways to end the world.
You have four warheads, a radio, and a gun on the roof.
Will you negotiate — or act?
Blizzards intensify.
Resources run low.
Isolation grows.
The longer it lasts — the worse it gets.
