You begin as a humble peasant who’s grown sick of the so-called heroes: arrogant adventurers who rampage through your village while pretending to fight for a greater cause. Enough is enough. It’s time to take your fate into your own hands. Venture through a world brimming with danger, deceit, and opportunity. Fight, scheme, and make allies or enemies on your own terms. You are no hero, but you don’t have to be, to change everything. You are not the hero of this story. Heroes are arrogant and take what they please without consequences. Instead, you are a peasant who's had enough of their corruption. When you fight back the world WILL see you as the villain. Every choice you make will change your character and the world around you. Chop down too many trees and the Druidic skill path will be closed off for good, but your powers in the chaotic and destructive paths will grow. Get rid of the best dragon slayer and the world will slowly become infested with dragons. Climb everything! Discover hundreds of creatures, dozens of races, multiple factions, mounts, pets & companions. No two playthroughs are alike as every choice you make will make your world and character different. There are no traditional skill-trees in Peasant. Your actions and decisions will determine which of the 12+ paths you'll take and combine. You can raise the undead to help protect your village on the Undead path. Progress far enough through the Infernal path and you might grow horns, scaring away certain factions, blocking you from certain paths and relationships. Find your own way in the world to protect what's yours and defeat the so-called-heroes. Learn to craft traps, tame exotic monsters, wield ancient weapons, raise armies, mimic dangerous beasts, craft Steampunk machinery - choose your own way of playing the game. Yes. Even the dragon that's ready to tear your head off.
