Old & Gray is a cozy, slow, slice of life game. Lloyd Beauman, disgruntled and tired, navigates his daily routine. He falls into memories of the past while struggling to move through mundane tasks. However, a curious new feline friend brings him back to reality, allowing companionship and tenderness to fill his heart once again.
SYNOPSIS
Old and Gray is a 2D pixel art slow game. You play as old man, LLOYD BEAUMAN.
You have been chosen by the UCDS (Universal Cat Distribution System) — an unexpected, curious feline friend has found you in your moment of need. Your new cat, Gray, helps you find moments of softness to land on while slowly completing household chores and remembering moments of the past.
You progress through Seasons of the game, increasing your bond with Gray as he helps you navigate this new chapter of your life. Together you experience grief in its many forms of nostalgia, healing, love, joy, and change.
Old and Gray explores grief as an experience, rather than a feeling. Together we lean into the complex contrast of life’s enchanting dance: the realization of grief and joy existing as one.
