Über Love At The Desktop Market
Your Desktop Just Flooded
Somewhere below your taskbar, the ocean floor's scrappiest little supermarket is open for business and you're running it. Love At The Desktop Market isn't a game in a window. It's a phone that lives on your actual desktop, a shop that never quite closes, and a handful of aquatic locals who might just wander across your screen while you're trying to get work done.
There's no fullscreen mode to hide in. The store is your desktop now.
Stock It, Tag It, Ring It Up
Every shift is a scramble against the clock and your own rising stress levels:
- Restock shelves before the tide of deliveries sinks past reach match colors and sizes for adjacency bonuses
- Price Tags on the fly, reading the popularity charts before the till closes
- Checkout a shifting cast of customers pufferfish, jawfish, and whatever else swims in scanning, throwing, and counting change under pressure
- Clean up the mess before the next wave of shoppers walks in on it
Clock Out, Fall In Love
Monday through Friday, you work the counter. The rest of the week is yours. Ask someone out from the Hearts app, or wait for an invite to land as a notification between shifts, three very different locals, three very different relationships to build, one dialogue choice at a time. Say yes, and your date doesn't just show up in a cutscene, they show up on your desktop, wandering past your other windows, texting you mid-afternoon, remembering what you talked about last time.
It Notices You
The phone folds away. The shop keeps running in the background. And the people in your life keep living theirs checking in, texting, showing up uninvited when you least expect it. This isn't a game you pause to go do something else. It's the thing running while you do something else.
Features
- Four hand-tuned shop minigames tied together by one shift-and-stress economy
- A branching dialogue system with relationship tiers, unlockable topics, and three datable love interests
- A live week cycle real shifts, real day-offs, real consequences for skipping either
- A phone-first UI that folds, drags, and resizes right there on your screen
- An underwater cast with nowhere near enough impulse control around bubbles
Punch in. Stock the shelves. Try not to fall for a regular.
