Getting rich is easy. Getting out is the tricky part. Grab your Gang and head underground in search of treasure, glory, and probably a few bad ideas. Gobby Gang is a chaotic co-op adventure where you and your friends dig through destructible caves, hunt down heaps of treasure, discover ridiculous items, and deal with all sorts of Critterz standing between you and a very profitable day. The plan is simple: get in, grab everything you can, and get out. Of course, plans have a funny way of falling apart down there. One minute your Gang is working together like a well-oiled treasure-hunting machine. The next, somebody's been grabbed by a Critter, your escape route is gone, Fishy is somehow in a hole, and the person carrying the most valuable treasure is yelling for help. Sounds like an adventure! GET GREEDY! There's treasure down there. Lots of it. Grab coins, gems, and anything else worth hauling back to the Treasure Depot. Some treasure is easy enough to carry on your own. The really good stuff? That's where your friends come in. Work together to drag enormous hauls through caves, over obstacles, and around whatever trouble you've gotten yourselves into. Deposit enough treasure and you're doing great. But there's always more. And you didn't come all this way just to be sensible, did you? WHO NEEDS A PATH? See a wall? Dig through it. Don't see an opening? Make one. See something that looks suspiciously explosive? Well... you know what to do. Gobby Gang's destructible environments let your crew dig tunnels, carve new routes, blast through obstacles, and reshape the caves around you. Sometimes the smartest route is the one nobody planned for. Just remember: if you can break the cave, the cave can make things difficult for you too. PACK THE ESSENTIALS! Every respectable treasure hunter needs the right equipment. Gobby Gang has a slightly questionable definition of "right." Discover all sorts of Essentials that change how your Gang explores, escapes, fights, and inevitably gets into trouble. Blast through walls with Dynamite. Swing across gaps with the Mega Plunger. Fire your hard-earned loot from the Treasure Blaster. And that's only the beginning. The right item at the right moment can save the whole Gang. The right item at the wrong moment? Even better. MEET THE LOCALS! Turns out you're not the only ones wandering around down there. The caves are crawling with Critterz, and most of them aren't particularly interested in making your treasure hunt easier. Grabberz will haul you away. Leecherz have their eyes on your treasure. Spikerz would rather you kept your distance…and if something enormous comes smashing through the wall? Maybe don't be a hero. Fight back, improvise, help your friends out of trouble, or run somewhere considerably safer. Every Critterz has its quirks, and smart crews learn how to deal with them. Eventually. LOOK GOOD. GET RICH. Treasure isn't the only thing worth bringing home. Unlock new cosmetics and outfits for the Gang and give your favorite treasure hunter a look worthy of their increasingly questionable reputation. Mix things up, show off your style, and make sure everybody knows exactly who they're looking at when the whole expedition goes spectacularly wrong. Looking good is important. Luckily, we have a bunch of cosmetics to choose from! ONE MORE SCORE... You've gathered the treasure. You've filled the Depot. You could call it a successful trip. But where's the fun in that? Push your luck for an even bigger haul and crack open the Vault for the really valuable stuff. Just don't spend too long admiring your handiwork. Because once it's time to leave, it's time to MOVE. Grab what you can, rally the Gang, and make a mad dash for the exit as everything starts coming down around you. Routes disappear. Plans unravel. Somebody gets left behind. Go back for them. Probably. EVERY TRIP TELLS A STORY No two treasure runs go quite according to plan. Physics, destructible environments, Critterz, strange items, valuable treasure, and most dangerously your friends have a habit of turning simple jobs into stories you'll still be arguing about afterward. Maybe somebody makes an impossible save. Maybe your perfectly planned shortcut collapses. Maybe one friend carries the Gang while another spends thirty seconds trapped somewhere they absolutely shouldn't be. Whatever happens, there's only one rule that really matters: Get the Gang home. Preferably with the treasure.
