Über Gateshock
Every Map Has a Code
Build a map. Share it. Play it.
In GATESHOCK, every map you create in the editor — paths, water, obstacles, buildable ground and all — becomes a single shareable code.
Paste that code into chat and someone else can play the exact same map. Their score goes straight onto the same leaderboard as yours.
That’s the part no other tower defense does quite like GATESHOCK.
Which is why there’s no traditional level pack. There’s an editor.
Three Ways to Play
CAMPAIGN
16 handcrafted missions across four planets.
Every mission introduces a tower, enemy, or mechanic — and asks one question:
Which tower solves this map?
You have five lives. If a boss gets through, the mission is over.
RUNS
Four acts. A branching map. One run.
Choose your path through shops, events, elite fights, and 40 relics that can completely change how you play.
More lives for less damage.
Cheaper towers for slower income.
Builds that force you to rethink everything.
Lives carry across the entire run. Lose them all, and the run is over.
ENDLESS
One map. Endless waves.
Pick your planet and biome, build the strongest setup you can, and chase one thing:
Your own record.
14 Towers. Zero Filler.
Every tower has four upgrade tiers and its own skill tree, including Master Keystones that fundamentally change how the tower behaves — not just how much damage it deals.
The Ray heats up while holding a target and burns through armor.
The Boombox buffs nearby towers.
The Outpost creates new buildable ground. It doesn’t use a tower slot — because creating more space to build is its entire job.
And then there’s armor.
Armor absorbs a fixed amount from every hit, making heavy single shots incredibly valuable against tough targets while rapid-fire weapons can struggle to make a dent.
Bringing more of the same gun is rarely the answer.
Orbital Support
Your ship has more to offer than moral support.
Unlock 10 orbital abilities through officer ranks and build them in the hangar:
- Kinetic strikes
- Chain lightning
- An orbital laser that crawls along the lane
- Gravity wells
- Supply platforms that create new buildable ground mid-wave
You only get three ability slots.
Choosing what to bring means choosing what to leave behind.
Your Commander Talks Back
Admiral Peaches is fully voiced — and she has opinions about your build.
Full English and German voice acting, with interface and subtitles in both languages.
What You're Fighting
The enemy roster is designed to punish predictable builds:
- Fast-moving swarms
- Armored units that shrug off small arms
- Phased enemies that temporarily become untouchable
- Splitters that turn one problem into several
- Bosses that drop loot worth the trouble
You’ll need more than one good tower to deal with all of them.
