Same Awakened Unit, Different Tactics Frontactics is a strategic auto-battler roguelike where you deploy and develop Awakened units to overcome each battle. Build your formation, choose each unit's awakening path, and use the rewards you earn to complete a composition of your own. Each time an Awakened unit grows, you strengthen its stats and choose Engravings that alter its skills. Even the same Awakened unit can grow into a completely different role depending on your choices. Deploy, Observe, and Redesign Awakened units move and attack on their own on the battlefield. Decide who takes the first hit, how to protect your back line, and where to position your units to bring down the enemy's key forces. Create Links between Awakened units to bring out each other's strengths. Used well, Links can turn even an unfavorable battle into a victory. After each battle, analyze the result and refine your formation for the next fight. Find the Best Composition Within Limited Choices Consider the Awakened units, items, and relics you currently have, and choose the reward you need most. Sometimes, a choice that supports your current composition can matter more than the strongest option. Take Risks and Grow Stronger Follow a branching path that changes with every run, passing through battles, shops, treasure, rest sites, and bosses as you complete your formation. Decide whether to take a dangerous route for stronger rewards or preserve your health and prepare for the next opportunity. Know when to push your luck and when to back down.
