Combat This is a turn based JRPG with real time elements. Combat requires the player to have to learn enemy attack patterns by mastering the Stance system. Every attack the enemy uses against the player has a stance that counters it, like dodging and parrying. Boss fights introduce the Enrage mechanic, where the more the player does certain actions, like healing, buffing the party, and even killing the Boss's summons, the boss will increase their damage, causing the player to have to strategize around this mechanic. The third mechanic introduced in combat is the Rank mechanic. Similar to 3rd Person Character Action Games, the rank meter will slowly build with you countering enemies and using different abilities. Story You take control of Arthur, a general who leads a rebellion against Solomon, a leader obsessed with taking over the world. After being defeated by Solomon's General Elijah, Arthur must escape a prison and amass an army in order to take on the Tyrant King. Along the way you will grow your party and meet characters like Carmilla a Vampyrian princess, Arumera, a man trying to uncover a mysterious killer, Vincent, an Orc who has to confront his own hatred, and Myra, a mage who is obsessed with immortality Job System Every battle you will earn JP, or Job Points, and will learn skills with enough. When you learn enough abilities, you can advance to higher tier Jobs, which help grow a network of abilities, that unlock combos to overcome enemies easier. Equipment The game features a unique equipment system. Each weapon changes how your Basic Ability functions, anywhere from inflicting status effects, to changing the Basic Ability to a Skill or even a Spell. Armor has 2 different parts to it, a stat such as Defense or even Magic, that can be increased by upgrading the piece of Armor, but also feature a passive bonus, such as a resistance towards an element or status effect, or even granting bonuses to certain types of abilities. World The game takes place on the Remnance, a moon for the super-planet of Gaia. You will learn the history of not only kingdoms and continents, but on the history and origins of Gaia and Remnance, and will even be tasked with having to overcome ancient threats that have plagued the world for millennia
