Castillon is a bite-sized strategy game that blends RTS and TD gameplay As a renown wizard you lay claim to a new land to build your castle. But beware, for demon invaders roam the wilds. Grow your castle and kingdom during the day then fight off waves of enemies at night! Inspired by the base-building and resource management of classic RTS titles like WarCraft 3, the defensive experimentation of GemCraft, and simplified tactics of games like Thronefall and Bad North – Castillon aims to offer a familiar yet unique experience that borrows from some of our favorite titles. Build and Upgrade Gather up resources and spend them to expand your base as you see fit. There are no limits on building placements. Plan carefully to protect your castle and survive increasingly challenging nightly attacks. Each morning, you’ll be able to draft a new means of enhancing your hero or base. Harness Mystical Elements Utilize the 4 schools of magic: Holy, Arcane, Necrotic and Engineering to defeat your foes. Experiment with different magical combinations to maximize your defenses with unique and powerful elemental Towers. Defend your Kingdom During the day you can help your villagers collect resources, focus on building, or venture out in search of loot and additional magic gems. Build homes, farms, towers, barracks, walls and more to fortify your base. Striking a balance between economy and defense is key! Summary Castillon is super compact experience. The main campaign is likely to take you 4-6 hours. You can always adjust the difficulty with modifiers, all whilst chasing clever achievements. The game has all the hallmarks of a tiny classic RTS base defense. It is crafted to provide the same fun but distilled in a bite sized and approachable way.
