Über Bad Shrooms
YOU BOUGHT MUSHROOMS FROM A GUY IN A TRENCHCOAT
The pizza rave was going great until you handed a stranger thirty dollars for the "greatest trip of your life". Nothing happened, so you went home.
Now you and your friend are wearing loaner bodies, and an alien named Randy is in the apartment holding a big jar and talking about your juices. He is not a monster about it. He simply has quotas.FIRST-PERSON PARTY GAMES IN THE HOUSE
Every minigame and round is what you make it. Play it straight, strategic or only grief your opponent. You might be able to make it work. Randy gets his juices whether anybody wins or loses.THREE GAMES IN THE FREE DEMO
- Monkey Bowls: Trippy bowling with a combo chain. Hit crazy combo throws with tricks like bunny hops, 360s and griefing multipliers. There are zero actual monkeys in this minigame, stop asking about them!
- Hot Boys: The house fills with lava and turns you all into tiny Hot Boys. Get money while shooting your opponents into the lava and staying out of it yourself.
- The Bathrooms: Get lost in an aesthetically cohesive but ultimately hollow and terrifying minigame. Make money on the run from Crazy Randy in a generated nightmare hell maze from hell with extra hell.
Play with 2–4 players in local split-screen or over Steam. When the jar is full, it all ends in a Rumble With Randy. There will be eggs.EARLY ACCESS OPENS WITH SEVEN MINIGAMES
The demo gives you Monkey Bowls, Hot Boys and The Bathrooms. Early Access adds Randy's Gig Work, Schizo Sniper, Mecha Chameleon and Déjà Room, plus a bigger house and a much worse Rumble With Randy.
- Randy's Gig Work: This alien is literally running a delivery service out of your house with your stuff, and you're going along with it because you're on mushrooms. Plus, he shrinks you and makes you fly? Play the game.
- Schizo Sniper: Finally, the cracked-out sniper simulator you’ve been waiting for. Take turns at the window, convinced people are coming to get you, with one bullet for each of your friends while they try to disappear into the crowd.
- Mecha Chameleon: Forget everything you know about games with Mecha Chameleon in the title. Finally, a game with a literal mecha chameleon. He’s hiding in your house, and you’re on mushrooms. Find him. Punch him, beat him, shoot him—somehow kill him before your friends do. That’s pretty cool. You should play the game. Try it out. Play the game.
- Déjà Room: One thing in the house changed while you weren’t looking. Maybe your friend swapped it. Maybe Randy did something weird. Go back into the room, stare at everything you own and figure out what is wrong before everybody else does.
RANDY'S HOUSE IS PART OF THE GAME
This isn't just a bunch of frantic minigames. It's also a super chill house for chilling in. Open cabinets, steal food, throw everything that's not nailed down, earn Randollars and spend them at RandMart. Listen to the radio. It's great. Yell at your friends through great proximity chat. Maybe the best. Mess with all the weird little interactive stuff and just have a good time. Honestly, it's a chill place to hang out with your friends.RUMBLE WITH RANDY
When the jar is full of your sweet, sweet juice, the winner has to fight Randy through seven increasingly weird and difficult phases.
This isn't 7 superficial life bar color changes. Every phase changes what Randy can do, what the room is doing or what you can trust. It is a boss fight like you have never experienced before, and your opponents—your homies, your friends—have to help.
If it makes you laugh and have fun, wishlist the full game on Early Access coming SOON. The total goal is 15 minigames! Each one will get crazier and more ambitious as we develop the game together with your feedback.
