Strategy · Casual · 探岛工作室What if mahjong was less about strategy and more about pure nonsense? Draw, steal, and discard character tiles, then force them into the wildest sentence you can. Exes become emperors, bosses elope at midnight, zombies clock in for work. If you can make the nonsense make sense, you can win.

Go Wild! Word Mahjong
What happens when mahjong tiles stop being Dots and Bamboos... and start being words?
Welcome to a chaotic little twist on mahjong. Sit down with 2–3 AI opponents, draw tiles, steal what you need, toss what you don’t, and somehow turn a complete mess of words into phrases and sentences.
If it makes sense, you can win.
If it makes absolutely no sense but you can somehow make it work?
Even better.
About This Game
Forget Dots. Forget Bamboos. Today, we’re playing with words.
In Word Mahjong, every tile carries a piece of language.
You might end up holding something like:
MY / BOSS / TODAY / AGAIN / IS / SLACKING / OFF...
One second, your hand looks completely hopeless.
Then you draw that one tile.
Wait. WAIT. I can actually win with this.
Sit down with 2–3 AI opponents and keep reshaping your hand as you draw, steal, and discard tiles, trying to turn complete nonsense into something that somehow works.
Sometimes you’ll carefully build the perfect phrase.
Sometimes you’ll start making things up.
Sometimes you’ll stare at what you just created and wonder how you got here.
Doesn’t matter. If you can make the nonsense make sense, it counts.
Mahjong, But With Words
The familiar rhythm is still here:
Draw. Steal. Discard. Win.
Only now, instead of chasing traditional mahjong sets, you’re hunting for the exact word you need to finish your masterpiece.
Watch the table. Keep the good stuff. Throw away the junk. Wait desperately for that one perfect tile...
Then turn your ridiculous hand into something that actually reads like a sentence.
More Than One Way to Win
Different modes come with different rules.
Sometimes you’ll need to build several phrases in a specific pattern.
Sometimes your entire hand has to become one complete sentence.
Give the exact same tiles to different players, and you might get completely different answers.
One player writes poetry.
Another creates a workplace disaster.
Someone else accidentally writes the plot of a soap opera.
All of them can win.
Make Nonsense With AI Opponents
No need to gather a full table of friends.
In the current Demo, you can jump straight into a game with 2–3 AI opponents.
They’ll draw tiles, steal the ones you wanted, ruin your plans, and occasionally put together something so ridiculous that you’ll wonder how it was even legal.
Unfortunately for you...
it probably was.
Serious Mahjong? Wrong Table.
Office drama. Romance. Everyday nonsense. Ancient emperors. Soap-opera disasters.
Throw them all into one tile pool and see what happens.
Maybe your sentence begins with:
“My boss suddenly...”
What happens next?
Depends entirely on what you draw.
Maybe he quits.
Maybe he gets married.
Maybe he becomes emperor.
Maybe a zombie shows up for work.
Draw a tile. Build a sentence. Talk complete nonsense. Win anyway.
Welcome to Word Mahjong.
No Dots. No Bamboos.
Just a whole table full of nonsense.
