Velocrash

Build first, race second – and betray your friends somewhere in between. VELOCRASH is a chaotic party racing game: you build the track together, round after round, piece by piece – and every piece can be a gift or a dirty trick. Then everyone races at the same time. Finishing scores points. Making everyone else fail often scores more. Each round you draw a random hand of track pieces and traps and place exactly one: a sweeping curve for flow – or a saw blade right where the ramp jump lands. Pieces snap together end-to-end, and the track keeps growing round after round into an increasingly absurd knot of curves, ramps and jumps that you brought upon yourselves. ## Features – Turn-based building: a random hand of cards, one track piece or trap per turn – The track grows permanently – every round adds another piece of madness – Traps with personality: saw blades, wandering saws, oil slicks, boost pads, launch ramps, moving blocks – Real 3D arcade driving physics: drift, jump, fly – and leave out the guardrail if you dare – Play online with friends via Steam invite, 2–8 players – Two game modes (points race and time trial) and two worlds (canyon desert and green meadow) – Multiple cars and colors, fully localized in 5 languages VELOCRASH is a solo project by a single developer.
