In this visual novel, you follow a manga artist who creates a tulpa - a separate being inside his mind - hoping it could fix his problems. After all, what can go wrong, especially if the tulpa is this cute? Genre: comedy, drama, psychological horror. All the story, art, and music are made by real people, without gen-AI whatsoever. What is it? Tulpa the Unseen Lover is a visual novel in which you read text and make choices that change the story's outcome. Characters Meet Nick! Nick is a 23-year-old manga artist living alone in a foreign country. Some might see him as a broke, depressed, and probably clinically insane loser; but that would be a rather shallow point of view. Nick is a talented mangaka with a lot of potential, but at the moment, he's clearly going through some stuff. Nick also has an embarrassing secret he would never tell anyone. Meet Nick’s Secret! This cute girl is Nick’s best friend. It doesn’t matter that nobody else can see her! During an especially weird period in his life, Nick creates her in his mind, and you, the player, are going to help him! Give her a name, choose her an outfit for the day; she’s here for your eyes only! And for Nick’s, of course. But what is she, really? A hallucination, a ghost from the past, or an interdimensional being? What happens if she grows too attached? Does she like ice cream? There's only one way to find out. More characters are currently in development! About Us This game is being developed by a married couple who also happen to be professional animators. We use our expertise and experience (including work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Zootopia 2, Overwatch cinematics, and more) to create interesting characters you'd love to interact with. All CGs and cutscenes are hand-animated in Blender, with no gen-AI.
