Threshold Warden

Every thousand years, a chosen one journeys to the Rift — a place where life and death converge. In the shadow of an ancient crypt, a crystal glimmers, calling to lost souls. They do not remember their deaths and are drawn to the light, hoping to escape this grim place. But touching it only disturbs the peace of the living with their presence. Now, you are the new Guardian. Do not let the boundary between worlds vanish. Threshold Warden is a 2D pixel-art shooter-platformer where you control the guardian protecting the world of the living. Build towers, place turrets and traps to keep zombies from reaching the crystal and defend the boundary between worlds. By defeating enemies, you collect soul fragments. Once a wave is complete, the crystal activates and offers you a choice of upgrades and defensive tools: light generators, turrets, flamethrowers, mines, new weapons, and much more. Combine items and strategically strengthen your defenses to stop the zombie onslaught and keep the crystal safe.
