The forest, your home, is in danger. Wield the power of plants, unmask the evil forces corrupting nature, and banish them away to protect your friends. THORNSPELL is a deckbuilding AND gardenbuilding roguelike where you will strategize to create the most powerful garden, while your foes will attempt to burn it to the ground. Find unexpected combinations, experiment with different strategies, and snowball the growth of your garden to score big numbers and succeed in your quest. Place plants from your deck in strategic formations, and trigger them to unleash their effects at the right place and time. Some effects only trigger when your plants are watered, others when harvested, or even when destroyed! Manage both your deck of plants, and your deck of actions simultaneously, finding the best combinations, or the most ludicrous and unexpected synergies. Decide carefully! Placement matters for your relics too! Explore different positions within your garden, and ensure they are overlapping the critical pieces of your strategy. Test your strategies against a wide array of foes. If your magical garden is powerful enough to protect the forest, you will claim victory ...but if it is not, you will have to start over!
