​Scarred Steel is a brutal, solo tactical RPG, inspired by the game Heads Will Roll Reforged, where victory is never clean. As a betrayed commander, you must dismantle the corrupt Council of Seven through unforgiving turn-based duels. In this world, you don't just lose health, you gain scars that change how you play.​Tactical Combat with Real Weight Every swing of your blade is a gamble. Manage your Stamina and Balance to keep the advantage during combat. Target body parts to improve hit chance, damage and balance damage. Overconfidence in fights is the true killer.​The Anatomy of Failure Injuries gained such as broken bones, bloodloss, and swelling can persist through your journey depending on severity. ​ Sometimes you'll have to fight with injuries that debuff you from the beginning. Success isn't about finishing a fight flawlessly, it's about surviving.No Perfect Starts Every run begins with a draft of three randomized survivors. Here you manage a survivor with unique traits, limited gear, and starting flaws. ​Every new run will give you different trade-offs to make when selecting the right character for you.Choose Your Equipment Carefully Heavier equipment makes you easier to hit, lighter equipment leaves you more exposed and weapon types are unique from one another. Discover which equipment fits your play style, find better equipment and repair them when they lose durability.
