Off-World Prospecting

Off-World Prospecting is a game about exploring a living alien world as a prospector, while trying to find your missing sister. You'll play as a colonist from in a major colony settlement on the planet Sheol, and travel to your missing sister's abandoned outpost to decide what to do with it now that she has been declared dead. It's a run down outpost far from civilization but with a little work, it can return to respectability. You'll explore this still very alien world in which humanity has only so far marginally managed to civilize. Outside the reach of civilized corporation controlled settlement in which you lived, things can get strange. You'll dig into the rock and soil and take to the skies, visiting outposts of scientists, nomad groups, and other groups managing to survive in the deep canyons and open highlands of the planet. You'll prospect for signs of valuable ore veins, nests of exploitable alien fauna, and technological or historical artifacts. You will need to use your wits to puzzle out what happened to your sister, while learning more about the planet and its history. Turn your sister's prospecting dirigible into a worthy vessel through upgrades, gear, and tokens you find in your travels. Will you take this new and unexpected journey into the strangeness of life, both alien and human on this frontier planet and make of it what you will as a prospector, as an explorer, and as a human being very far from home?
