Neko Rogue is a roguelike deckbuilder where every fight is decided by your hand, and every wrong play could end in disaster! This isn’t a simple reskin of “play cards, see a damage number, end turn.” In Neko Rogue, the enemy plays by the same rules as you do: CARDS. EVERY ENEMY HAS A DECK • Each foe brings a unique card set—no generic attack-block cookie-cutter packs. • Multi-enemy street fights and bosses each telegraph threat through real card play. • Rare finishers and specialized skills make every encounter feel like a different. INTENT CARDS, NOT JUST INTENT ICONS • Each round, enemies reveal an Intent Card on the field—not just a symbol. • You’ll read the board like a real duel: what’s coming, what’s blocked, what’s about to hurt. • Fight packs and bosses with style—and plan around plays you can actually see. PLAY THE ENEMY’S TURN BEFORE IT HAPPENS • Build a deck that hits hard—but also includes skills that target enemy Intent Cards. • Steal block points, reduce incoming damage, or negate an intent completely. • Outplay the board, not just the HP bar. LOOT THE ENEMY’S DECK • After victory, choose cards and skills from the enemy’s deck to add to your own. • Turn a street punk’s tricks—or a boss’s signature moves—into weapons for the next fight. • Grow stronger by absorbing the city’s underworld, one conquered deck at a time.
