Only by working together can you transform ruins into a stronghold capable of resisting the horrors of the wasteland. INFECTED ZONES ARE THE RICHEST — AND THE DEADLIEST Infected zones are the richest — and the deadliest — places in the world. Face hordes of mutants with unique behaviors and abilities. Use tactics, monitor radiation levels, and always watch your corners: only those who stay alert survive here. THE COUNTRYSIDE IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO HIDE. OR DIE. Explore the haunting atmosphere of abandoned villages. Supplies are scarcer here than in the cities, and so are your chances of surviving alone. Fortify an old country house, fend off mutants in the fields, and use the terrain to protect your shelter. You are in charge here — until night falls. BUILDING IS YOUR KEY TO SURVIVAL. Gather resources, construct walls and defensive structures, and turn abandoned buildings into fortified bastions capable of withstanding mutant raids and unwanted visitors. PANEL APARTMENT BLOCKS These grim concrete labyrinths hide either valuable loot or certain death behind every apartment door. Search every floor, move carefully through the stairwells, and try not to get trapped inside these endless concrete boxes. RIVERS AND LAKES ARE MORE THAN JUST SCENERY They are also a source of food. Grab a fishing rod, find a quiet spot, and catch fish before the local creatures notice you. A peaceful fishing trip may be your only chance to rest and fill your stomach after another harsh day in the Zone. DO NOT LOOK FOR EASY PATHS. The best loot is hidden behind boarded-up windows and locked doors. Break your way inside to find truly valuable gear.
