One bank. One last job. Again. ID Required is a single-player third-person social-stealth heist roguelike about robbing the same bank repeatedly – and dealing with the consequences of how you did it last time. Before each robbery, you prepare. Buy equipment, gather insider information, case the building, and look for weak points. Then decide what kind of job this will be. Take a small, safe score or risk everything for a bigger payout. Slip through quietly, manipulate the people inside, or go in prepared for things to get loud. Restricted areas require more than lockpicks. Steal ID cards, copy credentials, impersonate the right person, and convince people that you belong where you clearly don’t. But the bank pushes back. Drain its ATMs too often and there will be less cash waiting next time. Keep storming through the front door and you may find metal detectors and a faster police response. Sabotage the bank’s infrastructure repeatedly and it will invest in backups. Every successful strategy gives the bank a reason to take it away from you. When the plan falls apart, the robbery isn’t necessarily over. Cut your losses and escape with what you have, or keep pushing until a quiet heist becomes a full-blown shootout. The bank will remember either way. Money and surviving equipment carry between runs. Gear left behind is gone. Spend your winnings on better tools, stronger capabilities, and information that might make the next job possible. Set in a slightly stylized present day or near future, everything in ID Required is grounded in technology and methods that could exist today. It was supposed to be one last job. Why it refuses to stay finished is something you’ll have to discover inside the bank.
