About the Game DEEPWARD is a fast horror FPS roguelite set in an alternate 1920s. Choose three heroes from a roster of six and switch between them instantly during combat. Each has their own health, stamina, movement speed, weapon and special ability. Your squad gives you several ways to handle a fight. Switch when you need another weapon or ability, and get wounded teammates out of danger before you lose them. Hero death is permanent, so keep an eye on everyone you're taking down there. Shoot, kick and slash your way through whatever gets in your way. Fights get crowded, and you'll often be switching characters while moving, shooting and trying to stay out of reach.Rooms fill with enemies, and your sanity affects what you see. Keep moving and kill fast to hold back the madness while keeping your squad alive.Head underground through gothic interiors, caves, prisons and ritual chambers. The deeper you go, the stranger the surroundings become. You'll piece together the expedition's story through journals and conversations with your crew. Their introductions only tell you so much. Some things won't make sense until you reach the end.
