Game Overview Dead Roll is a dice-building roguelike where you roll dice to form poker hands, meet the target score for each round, and face off against a series of dealers. The rules are simple. Roll the dice, decide when to stop, and use your completed poker hands to reach the target score. But as the game progresses, luck, builds, items, and dealer interference collide to create a completely different run every time. Playable Characters Choose from more than 10 playable characters, each with their own starting conditions and playstyle. Some characters excel at building reliable strategies. Others specialize in risky combos, while a few begin each run with strange conditions already stacked against them. Your choice of character can completely change how the same set of rules plays out. Boss Dealers Boss dealers will not sit back and let you play the game your way. Each dealer can change the rules of the table, disrupt specific strategies, or put you under greater pressure. Even a familiar build may require a completely different approach depending on the dealer you face. Build Poker Hands Form familiar poker hands such as Pairs, Straights, and Flushes. The basic rules are easy to understand, but as you discover new types of dice and add more item effects, you can pursue higher scores and increasingly elaborate combos. Shops and Items Between rounds, visit the shop to purchase a variety of mods and consumable items. Choose from over 100 mods and consumables that can transform the way you play. Multiply your score, trigger additional effects under specific conditions, or reinforce the weaknesses in your build. With the right setup, even an ordinary roll can lead to an extraordinary score.
