O hře Breeding Pit
You are the Dark Lord. The pit is yours.
Beneath a ruined tower, an exiled sorcerer digs a breeding pit and raises an orc host to break the Bright Realms. Every whelp born there carries real genes from its sire and its dam: some awake, some sleeping, some that will only surface three generations later. Breed well and your horde grows stronger with every birth. Breed badly and you'll find out on the battlefield.
Breed them
- Over 130 genes that bend the rules rather than add stats: chain lightning, goblin rabbles, executioners, warg callers, laws that rewrite a whole battle.
- Real inheritance. Dominant, recessive and chimeric genes. Carriers pass on what they don't show. Pair two orcs and see the odds for every gene before you commit.
- Omens. Now and then new blood wakes in a whelp, a gene neither parent had, and an Omen founds a bloodline that its descendants carry.
- Name every whelp the moment it hatches, then follow it from the pit to the front.
Send them to war
Four orcs and their summons on a 3x2 grid, one shared pool of action points in retro-styled RPG battles. When a gene fires, the game tells you whose blood it came from. Raid five realms of Men, Elves, Dwarves, Lake-folk and Eyrie knights, then storm the White Spire and put out the Light.
Raise a dynasty
- Family trees that remember everyone: the living, the sleeping in the Barrow, the ones who fell and who they fell to.
- Grudges and vengeance. When a champion falls, its kin remember the kind of foe that killed it, and strike harder against them.
- Bloodlines founded by Omens, carried by name down the generations.
- The Dynasty poster: your champion, your line and your fallen on one page, saved as a picture to share.
Run it again
Each march is a roguelite run along a branching map: camps, traders, events, elites and a ruler at the end of every realm. Retreat at a camp to bank what you carry, or push on and risk it. Win, and the Dread rises: twenty levels of it. Collect twenty Rings with their own powers. Or try the Daily Pit one seed, the same for everyone, every day.
Run the keep
Station orcs in the fields, mines, lumber camp and forge. Research with the Shaman. Forge gear from recipes you carry home. Recruit at the War Market. Put your best breeders to sleep in the Barrow until you need them. And when the pit is full, the mulch pit is always hungry.
